About Me

Carolyn vogel: I am a nurse (for many years...), and am currently employed at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Ill. I have been privileged to have traveled numerous times to several countries to provide medical care. For the last 10 years we have traveled to the state of Chiapas, Mexico providing health care for the Inigenous people in the mountainous area near Guatemala. We have formed relationships there and have built a clinic there. The Medical teams are seeing patients there on a regular basis, as we pray and wait for a permanent physician. I will travel this year, in my "semi-retirement" to spend 2 months on the mission field in Chiapas. I hope it is the first of many extended trips!
