Well, a grand road trip to North Crolina for our annual Hebron board retreat, ends with a wonderful visit to the Creation Museum and Noah’s Ark in Kentucky. Jim and Sharon and I camped our way across the eastern half of the US in their tried and true pop up camper. The Hebron meeting was productive and plans were made for the upcoming year and ideas for increasing and sustaining support were discussed.
Jan and Pablo’s presence was special and added to commitment and connection we already feel for Chiapas. Their road trip visiting churches was joyful and motivational. They presented programs, enjoyed potlucks and hospitality,
preached before congregations and Presbytery meetings, and met with Mission Councils.
The huge, magnificent museums built to give one a real feel and lots of historical truth, verify the fact of God’s hand in Creation itself. The 7 story Ark replica was mind blowing and so beautifully recreated to allow you to feel how Noah believed and followed God’s word and actually carried out the Biblical Ark experience. Historical data was fascinating. These were 2 delightful days, surrounded by God’s word in a vibrant way.
